I have been using onlinetvrecorder.com for a while now and figured it was time to get the word out.
Onlinetvrecorder.com is basically an internet based videorecorder for german tv stations. All you have to do is sign up and start your recordings by using their convenient TV Guide to select the shows you would like to record. Some of the available channels are ARD, ZDF, Sat1, RTL, RTL2, SuperRTL, PRO7, Kabel1, VOX and many, many more.
When the recording is ready for download you will receive an email that will let you know. There are several different download options. A free download will usually line you up at the end of a download cue which might sometimes take a while but you also have the choice of paying a little donation via paypal which then let’s you choose the express download option.
The downloaded file is in otr file format which needs to be decoded first before you’ll be able to view it (decoder is available as a free download on the onlinetvrecorder site as well). Decoding takes no time at all and once it’s done you will have a perfect avi file that you can view on your computer or burn on cd and watch on your tv using your avi compatible dvd player.
ARD, ZDF, Sat1, RTL, RTL2, SuperRTL, PRO7, Kabel1, VOX and many, many more.
